Meredith Crocker White

Meredith has been with GJDC for over 18 years. She has been with the studio since its start in 2002 and a member of the Dance Force Competition Team for 10 years. Meredith has received many awards and scholarships including DMI, PDTA, and Steps on Broadway in NYC and was also chosen to be a Hoctors Dance Caravan Kid. She has studied under some of the best choreographers in the country and continues her dance education at Broadway Dance Center in NYC, Showstoppers Teacher workshops and with local artists and choreographers. Meredith was chosen in 2010 to receive a full scholarship to the Clifton Dance Project in Huntington Beach, California. Over the summer of 2010, Meredith was selected for the AMTC Agency as a dancer, singer, and performer and also traveled to LA with local Richmonders to perform as a backup dancer for Asia Entertainment. Meredith also had the honor of choreographing the opening number for Youth Quest 2016 and was selected to be a judge for the dancing portion of the competition. She will be choreographing and judging once again for Youth Quest 2017 this summer in Daytona Beach, Florida. Meredith was an assistant with GJDC for over 9 years and is finishing her 6th year as a full-time teacher. When Meredith isn’t teaching dance or taking pictures, you can find her chasing her 1-year-old daughter, Zee (her greatest joy!).
